Hua Lamphong (the station sign says Hua Lumpong) has been the main rail station of Bangkok since the early 20th century. The station, with a building that looks like an oversized Japanese school gym, reminds me of Tokyo's
Ueno Station in the days before it got the
Shinkansen. Many train services have already moved to the newer main station, which opened in 2021, but some still use this vintage terminal.
