DARK RED LINE

My first time riding the modern version of the State Railway of Thailand train. Dark Red Line, which opened in 2021, connects downtown and the northern suburbs of Bangkok as part of the Bangkok Mass Rapid Transit System, and uses the Hitachi-built SRT 1000-series EMU. 

タイ国有鉄道が運行する列車の最新バージョンを初めて体験する。バンコクの都市高速鉄道システムの路線としてダウンタウンと北側の郊外を結ぶダークレッドラインは2021年に開業した。車両は日立製の1000系電車。

Smoothly arrived at Krung Thep Aphiwat, the new central train station of Bangkok. It's a huge upgrade from SRT's non-electrified conventional rail service.

バンコクの新しい中央駅、クルンテープ・アピワットにスムースに到着。これまでずっとタイ国鉄の主力であり続けてきた非電化路線と比べて、進化の度合いがものすごい。
