FURTHER DOWN SOUTH PART2

At Kiire Station, I get on the following train which runs further to Ibusuki Station to continue my southbound journey. The model of the DMU is the same as my previous train—the KiHa 200 series painted in bright yellow.

喜入駅で指宿まで走る後続列車に乗りかえて南下を続ける。車両はここまで乗ってきたものと同じ、真っ黄色のキハ200系気動車。

Arrived in Ibusuki. The city is known for its hot springs but the streets around the station is super sleepy.

指宿に到着。この街は温泉で有名だが、駅前周辺はまったく活気がない。
