SOCIALIST ARCHITECTURE HUNTING IN BELGRADE: PALACE OF SERBIA

It's even larger, longer, wider, and more difficult to capture in one photograph than the Hotel Jugoslavija. The Place of Serbia, completed in 1959, is a government building on the banks of the Danube. It is said that the original plan was in the style of socialist realism, but because of the Tito-Stalin split, the building was given a modernist aesthetic.
