CAT

Riding the City Airport Train a.k.a. CAT from Vienna Airport to check out downtown Vienna. The train is pushed or pulled by a Siemens-built ÖBB Class 1016 electric locomotive. The 16-min journey is non-stop and hassle-free.

ウイーン空港からCATとして知られるシティエアポートトレインでウイーンの街へ出かける。列車を押したり牽いたりしているのはオーストリア連邦鉄道のシーメンス製1016形電気機関車。16分の旅はノンストップでかなり快適。

Arrived at Bahnhof Wien Mitte in the rain. I need to go back to the airport soon, so unfortunately, there is no time for a Sacher torte or a schnitzel.

雨のウィーン・ミッテ駅に到着。じきに空港へ戻らなくてはいけないので、今回は残念ながらザッハトルテもシュニッツェルもなし。
