Starting a staycation in my hometown. Before they built this Peninsula, there was a classic office building called Hibiya Park Building on this site, and it has a city ticket office of Swissair (not the current
Swiss International Air Lines). If I remember correctly, I once issued an award ticket there. This area of Hibiya used to have a variety of airlines' city ticket offices, including those of
United,
KLM,
Northwest, and
Pakistan International.
Thai also had one until quite recently in the building across the street from the hotel. Now, of course, they are all gone with paper tickets.
自分の住む街でステイケーションを始める。このペニンシュラが建つ前、ここには日比谷パークビルヂングというクラシックなオフィスビルがあり、スイス航空（現在の
スイスインターナショナルエアラインズではない）の市中オフィスが入っていた。記憶が正しければ、確か一度そこでアワードチケットを発券したことがある。かつて日比谷の周辺は
ユナイテッド、
KLM、
ノースウエスト、
パキスタン国際航空といったエアラインの市中オフィスが集積していた場所で、
タイ国際航空のものもかなり最近までペニンシュラの向かいのビルにあった。でも今ではもちろん、そのすべてがペーパーチケットとともに消えてしまった。
