OKINAWAN BRUTALIST

These anonymous concrete structures obviously have a different aesthetic than most of the architecture in mainland Japan. Okinawa's climate and history have made this island a Brutalist paradise. For me, that fact is more attractive than its beaches.

ここにあるような無名のコンクリート建築は、日本本土で主流になっているものとは明らかに異なるテイストを持っている。沖縄の気候と歴史はこの島をブルータリズムの楽園にした。僕にとってそれはビーチよりも魅力的。
