THE MAJESTIC MALACCA: CHECK-IN

Driving to Malacca, or Melaka, from KLIA on the Highway AH2 in a van arranged by the hotel.

KLIAからハイウェイAH2経由でマラッカ（別名ムラカ）へ、ホテルがアレンジしてくれたバンで移動する。

This is my home in Malacca—The Majestic on the Malacca River. The hotel is run by YTL Hotels, a Malaysian hotel company that also owns the Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Niseko and is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

マラッカでの我が家は、マラッカ川沿いに建つザ・マジェスティック。ここはニセコのリッツ・カールトン・リザーブも所有するマレーシアのホテル企業、YTLホテルズが運営しているホテルで、スモール・ラグジュアリー・ホテルズ・オブ・ザ・ワールドのメンバーでもある。

I became hungry after a long drive, so first I had this in a small lobby bar inside a restored 1920s Straits Settlement mansion. 

長いドライブのあとなので、まずは腹ごしらえ。レストアされた1920年代の海峡植民地式邸宅の中にある小さなロビーバーで、これを注文した。
