MALACCA MODERN

Here is a collection of modernist architecture in Malacca that fascinated me. This is the Melaka Folks Art Gallery, painted in the same color as the Christ Church Melaka.

マラッカで気になったモダニスト建築を集めてみた。こちらはマラッカキリスト教会と同じ色に塗られたムラカフォークアートギャラリー。

Bangunan Madonna, or Madonna Building, next to the Church of St. Francis Xavier.

バングナン・マドンナ。つまり、マドンナ・ビルディング。セントフランシルザビエル教会の隣にある。

Chanson Building in the Jonker Walk area is looking for a tenant or an owner.

ジョンカーウォークエリアにあるチャンソンビルはテナントもしくはオーナーを募集中。

The Central Hotel on Jalan Bendahara has a pretty impressive facade with a bunch of doored windows. I'm not sure if they still run the hotel.

ジャランベンダハラに建つセントラルホテルは、大量のドア付き窓が並ぶファサードが素晴らしい。まだホテルを営業しているのかはわからないが。

May Chiang Hotel has a typical design of a modern shophouse on the corner.

メイチアンホテル。交差点に面したモダニズムショップハウスの典型的なデザイン。
