HOPPING OVER THE STRAIT

I'm heading back to Peninsular Malaysia leaving Penang Island to continue my journey to Malacca. I had no seatmate, so I moved to a window seat.

マラッカに向かうため、ペナン島から半島マレーシアへ戻る。隣席が空席なので窓側へ移った。

Flying parallel to the Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge, a.k.a. Penang Second Bridge. The bridge is 24 km long, but the 737-800 took less than three minutes to cross the water.

スルタン・アブドゥル・ハリム・ムアザム・シャー・ブリッジ、別名「第二ペナンブリッジ」と並行に飛ぶ。橋の長さは24キロあるのだが、737-800は島から本土へ渡るのに3分かからなかった。

Black coffee. Fried flatbread with a quite tasty curry dip. And a bag of peanuts and a piece of dark chocolate. It was an enjoyable breakfast, even though the dipping sauce was spilled when it was served.

ブラックコーヒー、平べったい揚げパン＆かなり美味いカレーディップ、ピーナッツが一袋、そしてダークチョコレートが一枚。ディップソースがこぼれた状態でサーブされたが、なかなか良い朝食。

Approaching KLIA. Petronas Twin Towers are visible. Malaysia B737-800 PEN-KUL. The 799th flight in my lifetime.

まもなくKLIAに到着。ペトロナスのツインタワーが見える。マレーシア B737-800 PEN-KUL。生涯799フライト目。
