Here is a collection of notable modern architecture in George Town. This is the Lam Wah Ee Clinic building with graceful vertical lines. Built-in 1955.

"You can check out anytime you like. But you can never leave"な格子窓を持ったグランド FC ホテル。

ビーチストリートに建つスーフック（四福）海運会社ビル。

Aik Hua Primary School (left) and Wooi Ning Wooi Koon Building (right) on Muntri Street. Both built in the 50s.

ムントリストリートにある益華学校という初等学校（左）と會甯會館ビル（右）。どちらも50年代の建築。

The HSBC Building. This was built after the previous building was destroyed during World War II.
