EASTERN & ORIENTAL HOTEL: BREAKFASTS

When it comes to the breakfast venue, there are a few options in the hotel. First, I tried a restaurant in the Heritage Wing. Later, I found a sanctuary-esque restaurant on an upper floor of the newer Victory Annexe building. It is spacious and has a long balcony with great views of the strait. The best thing about the place was that since almost no one was using it, I could have a relaxing time without being bothered by the people dashing to the buffet tables. As I was nearly the only guest, the staff was very attentive and said, "Please make sure to come again tomorrow morning!" when I was leaving.

朝食会場はホテルの中に選択肢がいくつかある。まず最初はヘリテージウイングの店を試してみた。次に新館のヴォクトリーアネックスへ行ったら、その上層階に秘密の場所のようなレストランがあった。広々としていて、見事な海峡のビューを楽しめる長いバルコニーがついている。なにより見事なくらいに客がいないので、フードのテーブルに突進する連中に邪魔されることなくのんびりした時間を過ごせるのがうれしい。あまりにガラガラだったせいかスタッフの対応は実に丁寧で、帰る時には「明日の朝も必ず来てくださいね！」と言ってくれた。
