TAWARAYA RYOKAN (2): THE ROOM

Back in Tawaraya. This time I booked a bigger room on the second floor with the anteroom.

俵屋に帰ってきた。今回は前回よりも大きな、二階にある次の間つきの部屋を取っておいた。

The instruction in English says: Ask our bell captain to handle your luggage when you leave. But in Japanese, it actually says: Ask our " guys" to handle your luggage. It sounds very appropriate as a word from Tawaraya.

英語では「ご出発の際、お荷物はベルキャプテンにお申しつけください」と書いてある。でも日本語は「男衆」。実に俵屋らしくて良い。
