The hotel gave me a spacious lakefront/Bled Island view suite. When I made the reservation, I didn't realize that this hotel in Bled, Slovenia, was once the summer residence of President Tito. If you find a lavish building at an isolated prime location in an ex-Eastern Bloc country, it is often a former government building. And Vila Bled is one of them.
広々としたレイクフロント＆ブレッド島ビューのスイートにチェックイン。予約した時は、スロベニアのブレッドにあるこのホテルが、もともとチトー大統領の別荘だったとは気づかなかった。旧イースタンブロックの国で辺鄙だが良いロケーションに立派な建物があると、それはかつて政府関連施設として使われていた場所であることが多い。ここヴィラ・ブレッドもその一つ。
