FORMER THE TWENTY-THIRD NATIONAL BANK HEADQUARTERS BUILDING

This building was built by Kingo Tatsuno, an architect for Tokyo Station, in 1913 as the headquarters of Oita's national bank. Here, you see the textbook usage of the preserved old bank building: a souvenir shop and a cafe. It's nice, but I like to ask them to revisit the font on the name sign of the building.

この建物は、東京駅の建築家である辰野金吾によって大分の国立銀行の本店として1913年に建てられた。今では土産物店＆カフェという、保存された古い銀行建築の教科書的な使い方がされている。なかなか良いが、ビルのネームサインのフォントはやり直し。
