Galleria Midobaru is in a traditional hot spring destination. But not like a traditional hot spring inn, half board is not mandatory. You can book only room, or book bed and breakfast. That flexibility gives hotel guests a chance to discover local restaurants, and I believe it eventually brings a positive effect to the local economy. If you prefer to dine at the hotel, you can do so in The Peak—their cozy restaurant with hospitable staff and fabulous views.

The hotel also has Hot Spring Bar, but hot spring water is not on their menu.
