This red brick building sits next to the
former Ishikawa prefectural office building. It was originally built in 1891 as the main building for the Fourth High School. As time went by, it became a part of Kanazawa University, then a courthouse, and is currently used as a museum/gallery. These buildings beautifully preserved in the heart of the city tell how
the city values the architectural culture.
