The auditorium standing across the street from the
main building was designed by Arata Endo, a Japanese architect and a disciple of Frank Lloyd Wright. The architecture has the same aesthetic as Wright's main building giving a unified feel to the academic complex. It's not just a school auditorium. It's a cathedral of Prairie-style architecture.
道をはさんで
本館の向かい側に建っている講堂は、フランク・ロイド・ライトの弟子だった日本人建築家、遠藤新の設計。ライトによる本館との一貫性があるデザインになっていて、学園の施設全体に美しい統一感を持たせている。これは単なる学校の講堂ではなく、プレーリースタイル建築の神殿。
