INTO ASHIO VALLEY: MINERS' HOUSES

In the valley of Ashio, a large number of old wooden houses for copper mine workers still remain. I'm not sure if they are currently used or not.

Suddenly the sound of a single car train heading for Mato terminal broke the tranquility—as if it proves that the valley is alive and well.
