I vaguely remember there were still a few tram routes around Tokyo's city center in my early childhood. Back then, we called these tram cars "tinkling tinkling car" because it rang a bell when it started moving.
Museum's Shitamachi (Tokyo's old downtown) section has a tram car—the original Toei 7500 series—from the era. Route 6 from Shibuya to Shinbashi through the current
Roppongi Hills location (an old-timer Tokyoite like me calls it Zaimokucho) was discontinued almost one year before I was born.
