TOKAWA STATION

Arrived at Tokawa Station, a terminus at the end of the Choshi Electric Railway line. The 1923 original station building is still being used after several restorations.

銚子電気鉄道線の終着駅、外川に到着。1923年の開業時に作られた駅舎が、幾度かの修復を経ていまだに使われている。

At the station, they are exhibiting the Deha 800 series—an EMU with a cute face originally built in 1950 for Iyo Railway. Now it's time for lunch, even though I'm not sure if I can find a proper place to eat in this small fishery town.

駅には可愛らしい顔をした1950年製、元伊予鉄道のデハ800形が展示されていた。さて、ちょうどランチの時間。この小さな漁師町でどんな店が見つかるのか予想がつかないが。
