Bogotá doesn't have subway or metro rail systems. They have TransMilenio BRT services and regular city buses, but it's tricky to use them. And you can't expect taxi drivers on the streets to understand English. So naturally, I relied on Uber to get around the city. In recent years, app-based rideshare services such as Uber, Lyft, Grab, Gett, and Careem have obviously given me more freedom to explore cities in whichever country I'm visiting.
ボゴタには地下鉄や都市型鉄道がない。トランスミレニオという専用レーンを使ったバス高速輸送システムと通常の路線バスはあるものの、使いにくい。そして、街を流しているタクシードライバーたちが英語を解することは期待できない。ということで、街なかを移動する時は必然的にUberに頼ることになる。近年、Uber、Lyft、Grab、Gett、Careemといったアプリケーションベースのライドシェアサービスが生まれてきたおかげで、どこの国にいても、街歩きをする際の自由度が明らかに広がった。
