MUSEO DE ARQUITECTURA LEOPOLDO ROTHER, UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL DE COLOMBIA SEDE BOGOTÁ

I made a courtesy visit to the University City of Bogotá, the flagship campus of the National University of Colombia, and checked out Leopoldo Rother Museum of Architecture. Leopoldo Rother was a German-Colombian architect and urban planner who designed this largest university campus in Colombia. The architecture style here clearly has the influence of Bauhaus, and they call the campus "White City"—interestingly the same nickname as the one for Tel Aviv downtown that has countless numbers of Bauhaus and International Style buildings.
コロンビア国立大学のメインキャンパスであるボゴタ大学都市を表敬訪問し、レオポルド・ローター建築博物館に寄ってみた。レオポルド・ローターは、コロンビア最大の大学キャンパスであるこの大学都市を設計したドイツ系コロンビア人建築家&都市計画家。キャンパスの建築スタイルはバウハウスの影響を明らかに受けていて、人々はここを「白い都市」と呼んでいる。興味深いことにそのニックネームは、バウハウス＆インターナショナルスタイルの建築が数え切れないほど集まっているテルアビブのダウンタウンと同じ。
