HET SCHIP PART2

I love the contrast between the candy green doors and the modernist red brick mosaic. Het Schip was beautifully restored in 2018 with the support of the Getty Foundation, and now it has a permanent museum in it. I wish one of Dojunkai Apartments could have been preserved like this, but Tokyo has stupidly demolished all of them.
キャンディグリーンのドアとモダニストな赤煉瓦モザイクのコントラストが素晴らしい。ヘットシップは2018年にゲティ基金の支援を受けて美しく修復され、中には常設のミュージアムが入っている。同潤会アパートもせめて一つはこのような形で保存してもらいたかったが、東京は愚かにもそのすべてを破壊してしまった。
