IROHA

Going to Utsunomiya from Nikko on JR Nikko Line's Iroha train. This tourist train was converted from JR East's 205 series EMU that was used for commuter services on Keiyo Line. The number of doors was reduced from four pairs to two pairs per side, and seats were changed from the longitudinal bench layout to the transverse seating. The interior design is not sophisticated, but it is slightly more festive than the one for a regular train.
JR日光線のいろは号で日光から宇都宮へ向かう。この観光用電車は、京葉線用の205系通勤型電車を改造して作られた。ドアの数が4扉から2扉へ減らされていて、ロングシートからクロスシートへ変更されている。インテリアは決して洒落てはいないが、標準的な列車よりは若干ハレ感がある。
