Another
highlight of my tour in Minsk is to look for traces of the USSR: the defunct old Minsk Airport in the city center, known as Minsk-1 Airport, with the IATA code MHP. The current
Minsk National Airport (IATA code MSQ) I landed at was called Minsk-2 while this airport was in operation. The old terminal building, which looks like a railway station, still stands here with the dignity as a shrine of the Soviet aviation.

ハイライトがここ。IATAコードがMHPのミンスク第1空港として知られる、町の中心部にある閉鎖された古いミンスク空港。僕が降りたIATAコードMSQを持つ現在の
ミンスク・ナショナル空港は、この空港が使われている間はミンスク第2空港と呼ばれていた。跡地には、ソビエト航空界の神殿としての威厳をまとった、鉄道駅のような旧ターミナルビルがいまだに残されている。
