A RHOMBICUBOCTAHEDRON

Checking out a masterpiece of post-Soviet Belarusian architecture. The National Library of Belarus, built in 2006, has the shape of a rhombicuboctahedron. This post-modern glass diamond is located across the street from apartment towers with Soviet mosaic murals and has become a landmark of Minsk.
ポストソビエト時代におけるベラルーシ建築の傑作、斜方立方八面体の構造を持ったベラルーシ国立図書館を見学。2006年に完成したこのポストモダンなガラスのダイヤモンドは、ソビエト式モザイク壁画つきアパートメントタワー群の道をはさんだ向かい側にあり、ミンスクのランドマークになっている。
