IZU MARRIOTT HOTEL SHUZENJI PART2

This hotel was once a seventies-style resort hotel run by a Japanese real estate developer. Recently It underwent major renovation and reopened as one of five brand-new Marriott resort hotels in Japan. Its public spaces are roomy and it comes with a large old-school hot spring swimming pool as well as a large shared hot spring bath. In the US, Marriott brand doesn't always mean a great hotel experience, but I was impressed with very hospitable people here.
このホテルはかつて日本の不動産デベロッパが運営する70年代風のリゾートホテルだったが、最近大規模なリノベを経て、日本に新しく5つできたリゾートタイプのマリオットの1つとして再オープンした。パブリックスペースが広々としていて、温泉大浴場と古風な温泉大プールもついている。USでは、マリオットブランドは必ずしも素晴らしいホテル体験とイコールではない。でも、ここで働くスタッフの皆さんのホスピタリティは素晴らしかった。
