I visited Triton Sengoku, the global headquarters of
Fisherman Japan, in Ishinomaki's city center. Fisherman Japan is the organizer of the
Triton Project—a project to innovate Japan's fishing industry, nurturing the new generation of fishermen. I've been supporting the project since its launch.

Next stop: Ogatsu—a fishing town in Northern Ishinomaki. I took a fishing boat and went out to sea together with local fishermen and the team members of the project.
そのあとは、石巻の北にある漁師町、雄勝へ。地元の漁師の方々、そしてプロジェクトのチームと一緒に漁船に乗り込み、海へ出る。
This is how they farm scallops. The knowledge gained from fishermen's rich experiences grows tasty scallops.
ホタテの養殖の様子を見学。漁師の豊かな経験から生まれた知見が、美味いホタテを作る。
