When Don Muang was Bangkok's main international airport, I usually got a room at the
Amari Airport Hotel for a shower and some rest during a long layover. And now at Suvarnabhumi, I can do the same at this Novotel. Today, I have 10 hours in Bangkok. So I checked in, signed the condolence book at the hotel lobby for His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of the Kingdom of Thailand, who passed away last year, then took a train downtown. The hotel is just a quick shuttle ride away from the terminal and within walking distance of the Airport Rail Link station. And the room was a bit too big for day use.

アマリエアポートホテルの部屋をとってシャワーを浴び、少し休憩した。ここスワンナプームでは、このノボテルで同じことができる。今日のトランジットは10時間。そこでまずはチェックインして、ロビーで昨年崩御されたタイ王国プミポン・アドゥンヤデート国王陛下の追悼帳にサインをさせていただき、そのあと列車でダウンタウンへ向かった。ターミナルからこのホテルへはシャトルですぐ。エアポートレールリンクの駅へも歩いて行ける。部屋はデイユースには大きすぎるくらいだった。
