I had to make an overnight layover at Sheremetyevo, so I got a transit visa and checked into the Radisson Blu at the airport.
シェレメチボでのトランジットで一泊のレイオーバーをしなくてはならないため、トランジットビザを取って空港にあるラディソン・ブルにチェックインした。
Until a few years ago, when I had to stay at Sheremetyevo, the Novotel that I can see from the window of my room was literally the only option for modern and westernized transit hotel. And because it is located slightly outside the airport premises, I needed to take a shuttle from the terminal's curbside to check in there. Now thanks to this Radisson which has direct access to the terminal, I don't have to go outside the building anymore and that's ideal especially in Moscow's severe winter. The new Radisson is sophisticated, super functional, and right next to the Aeroexpress train station. SVO got better.
数年前までシェレメチボで泊まる際は、部屋の窓から見えているこのノボテルがモダンな西側のトランジットホテルとして実質的に唯一の選択肢だった。ノボテルは微妙に空港の敷地の外側に立っているため、宿泊する際にはターミナルのカーブサイドからシャトルに乗らなくてはならない。しかし今ではターミナルに直結されたこのラディソンができたので、建物の外へ出る必要がなくなった。これは特にモスクワの厳しい冬の間は理想的。新しいラディソンは洗練されていて、ものすごく機能的で、しかもアエロエクスプレスが発着する鉄道駅の隣にある。SVOは良くなった。
