A SHORT KTX RIDE

I took a short hop on a KTX train from Suwon to Seoul. A majority of KTX trains around Seoul region run on the exclusive high speed track and skip Suwon station, but currently four trains a day are operated on a conventional line and stop at Suwon. Fortunately I could get one of them.
水原からソウルまで、ほんの少しだけKTXでの旅を楽しむ。ソウルエリアのほとんどのKTXは高速専用線を走るので水原には寄らないが、現在1日4本だけ水原に停車する在来線経由の列車がある。幸運にもそのうちの1本に乗ることができた。

Arrived at Seoul Station. This KTX-I train looks like the twin brother of France's TGV because it was actually developed based on the TGV Réseau.
ソウル駅に到着。このKTX-I車両はフランスTGVの双子の兄弟のように見えるが、実際にTGVレゾがベースになっている。
