The Green Garage is triple bottom line—people, planet, and profit—coworking community and small business incubator located inside a sustainably renovated historic 1920s building which once was a showroom for
Model T-based automobiles. Inside the spacious building, they created vibrant shard offices and a workshop space.

This place was super impressive for me who loves hotels. The Green Garage converted an 1898 upscale apartment building, the
El Moore, to a near-zero energy building that houses annual lease residences and overnight accommodations. Each room is beautifully appointed and the lodge is bookable online. These fabulous projects can be a great inspiration for local communities in Japan that are struggling to find ways to be sustainable.

「エル・ムーア」を改造し、年契アパートメントと短期の宿泊施設を持つ、ほぼゼロエネルギーの建物として再生させた。それぞれの部屋は美しく仕上げられていて、短期のステイはオンラインで予約できる。こういった優れたプロジェクトは、持続可能な未来への道がなかなか見つからない日本の地方コミュニティに様々なインスピレーションをくれるだろう。
