KYOTO OF ARMENIA PART1

Walking around Echimiadzin. This city was the capital of Armenia between the 2nd and 4th century AD. It has been a "holy city" for Armenia people and Armenian Orthodox Church that holds Echmiadzin Cathedral, which is considered as the oldest cathedral in the world, at its core. Maybe it's Armenian equivalent of Kyoto.
エチミアジンの街を歩く。ここは2世紀から4世紀にかけてアルメニアの首都だった街。世界最古のカテドラルと考えられるエチミアジン大聖堂をその中心部に抱く、アルメニア人とアルメニア正教会にとっての「聖なる街」でもある。日本人にとっての京都のような場所かもしれない。
