JR EAST 185 SERIES

Going back to Tokyo on a regular Odoriko limited express train, not the Super View Odoriko. This limited express service still uses the 185 series train which was introduced when I was 13 years old, taking over the Amagi limited express train. So this is a JNR car, not a JR car.
スーパービュー踊り子号ではなく、普通の特急踊り子号で東京へ帰る。この列車は、僕が13歳の時に特急あまぎ号を引き継ぐ形で導入された185系をいまだに使っている。つまりこれは、JR車両ではなく、JNR（日本国有鉄道）車両。

A ceramic wash stand with a soap bar. A 20th century style rail trip still lives here.
陶器の洗面台と固形石鹸。20世紀の鉄道の旅がここでまだ生きている。

When you are on the Tokaido Line, you can't miss this. Horse mackerel pressed sushi bento by Ofuna-ken, the train bento vendor who has been selling this sushi box since 1913.
東海道線といえば鯵の押寿司。1913年から駅弁としてこの寿司を売り続けている「大船軒」謹製。
