Some articles say that Delta is gradually retiring their 747s. My relationship with NWA/Delta 747 started in the summer of 1991 and I've been flying with her for more than two decades. To Detroit Metro. To LAX (NW Flight 2!). To Twin Cities. To Don Muang. To Hongqiao. The total distance I traveled with her circles the globe many times. It's unbearable to lose my longtime travel companion and this spacious upper deck cabin. Delta B747-400 LAX-NRT. The 605th flight in my lifetime.
