The original drafting desk of Donald Douglas Sr is the example of exhibits to tell this museum was founded as the Douglas Museum and Library. It's quite impressive to see engineers of that time used T-squares to design airliners.
ドナルド・ダグラス・シニアが実際に使った製図デスクも置いてあり、このミュージアムがダグラスのミュージアム&ライブラリーとして創設されたことを語っている。当時のエンジニアたちがT定規でエアライナーを設計していたのを見せられると、今さらながら驚く。
