AT THE FOOT OF MOUNT YUFU

Walking around the town of Yufuin. The majestic view of Mt.Yufu is dazzling but its commercial center is too touristic and needs a more sophisticated concept. First, they should have a unified way to write the name of the city in Chinese character. Currently two ways of write it exist and that brings confusion. How about having local plebiscites?
湯布院の街を歩く。由布岳の雄大な風景はな見事だか、中心市街地は俗化し過ぎていて、もっと洗練されたコンセプトが必要。まずは混乱のもとになっている「由布院」と「湯布院」という二つある漢字表記を統一したほうがいい。住民投票でもやったらどうだろう？
