83 YEARS OF SAFETY

Stickers of Hawaiian Airlines I got at Honolulu International. Some people say Qantas is the safest airline in the world, but they had a few fatal accidents during pre-jet age. On the other hand Hawaiian has zero fatal accident in their entire 83-year history. Their fleet and network size is smaller than the one of major airlines so it's a bit hard to make a direct comparison, however they are definitely one of the safest airlines in the world.
ホノルル国際空港で手に入れたハワイアン航空のステッカー。世界で一番安全な航空会社はカンタスだと言う人がいるが、彼らはジェット化以前の時代にフェイタルな事故を数回起こしている。一方、ハワイアンはその83年の歴史の中で人命に関わる事故はゼロ。大手の航空会社と比べると機材数やネットワークのスケールが小さいので直接比較するのは難しいが、世界で最も安全なエアラインの一つであるのは確かだろう。
