KAWAKAMI-SAN'S VEGETABLES

Once a month, fresh organic vegetables are delivered to my home by Kawakami Farm in Ayamachi, Miyazaki Prefecture. This farm is run by my high school classmate Kawakami-san and her husband, who left Tokyo life to practice their ideal way of agriculture. If you become their "supporter" and subscribe to regular purchase, you can frequently enjoy the amazingly rich taste of nature which you can't get at any nearby supermarket. It's really great to hear from my old friend with a monthly letter you can eat.

月に一度、新鮮な無農薬の野菜が宮崎県綾町の川上農園から我が家に届く。この農園のオーナーは、理想的な農業を実践するために東京の生活を離れた、僕の高校の同級生である川上さんと彼女のご主人。彼らの「サポーター」となって定期購入を申し込むと、近くのスーパーマーケットなどでは手に入れることができない驚くほど豊かな自然の味わいを頻繁に楽しむことができる。旧友からの便りが、食べられる手紙として毎月届くのは実に嬉しい。
