MIYAZAKI PREFECTURAL GOVERNMENT BUILDING

Built in 1932, it reminds me of public buildings in Manchuria, which were built in the same period and are still standing in Changchun and Dalian, China. It has the grace and dignity Japan lost long ago.

1932年完成。同時代に建てられ、いまだに長春や大連にある旧・満州国の公共建築を思い出させる。日本が遥か昔に失った気品と威厳。

The prefectural governor's room is peaceful and quiet since the famous ex-comedian former governor is no longer here.

県知事室。静かで落ち着いている。有名な元コメディアンの前知事がいなくなったので。

Another treasure of Miyazaki. It used to belong to the bank and now is the annex building of the prefectural government. Built in 1926, it is the same generation as this beautiful bank in Fukui.

また別の宮崎の宝。元銀行で、今は県庁の別館。1926年完成。ということは、福井のこの美しい銀行と同世代。
