A GIFT FROM IMPERIAL HOUSEHOLD AGENCY
The Imperial Household Agency gave us something that money can't buy. "Kikuyaki Zangetsu (Remaining Moon with Chrysanthemum Seals), a special Japanese cake with the Imperial Chrysanthemum Crest.
お金では買えないものを宮内庁が贈ってくれた。菊のご紋章をあしらった特別な和菓子、「菊焼残月」。
The Japanese character "ha" on the back of the box means that these cakes are prepared by Tokyo's famous Hanazono Manju confectionery, which has more than 170 years of history. They say if the stamp is "to", it means Toraya.
箱の裏にある「は」の文字は、このお菓子が170年以上の歴史を持つ東京の和菓子の老舗、花園万頭で作られたことを示す。もし「と」だったら、それは「とらや」製だそう。
