CHINGGIS KHAAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Leaving Mongolia. Chinggis Khaan International Airport, opened in 2021, was built with support from the Japanese government and is run by a joint venture of Japanese companies, including Narita International Airport Corporation, and a company funded by the Mongolian government. That can be the reason why I felt like I was at an airport in Japan. The MIAT lounge, called the Blue Sky Lounge, was full of exhausted transit (or perhaps stranded) passengers arrived from somewhere.

モンゴルを離れる。2021年に開業したチンギスハーン国際空港は日本政府の支援で作られ、成田空港会社を含む複数の日本企業とモンゴルの政府系企業のJVで運営されている。なんとなく日本の空港にいる感じがするのは、それが理由かもしれない。ブルースカイラウンジと名づけられたMIATのラウンジは、疲れ果てたトランジット客でいっぱいだった。どこかの空港からやってきた彼らは、もしかしたら足止めを食らっていたのだろうか。
