AEROTEL LONDON

As soon as I entered my room, I regretted that I had chosen the convenience of the location over comfort. The room was tiny, had no window, and felt depressing. The only good thing about this airport hotel was that it is directly connected to Terminal 3, which I had arrived at and would depart from. I should not have avoided a roundtrip train ride to T5 to check into the Sofitel —the best on-site hotel at LHR—even though I know it is cumbersome. I really hope that T3 would have a better direct-access hotel whose room has at least one window.
部屋に入った瞬間、快適さよりも場所の便利さを選んだことを後悔した。部屋は狭小で、窓が一つもなく、気が滅入る。このエアポートホテルの良い部分は、今回到着と出発で使うターミナル3につながっているという点だけ。面倒ではあるのだが、T5まで電車に乗って、ヒースローのオンサイトで一番良いホテルであるソフィテルにチェックインするべきだった。将来、部屋に少なくとも窓が一つあるダイレクトアクセルのホテルがT3にできることを、心から願っている。
