OH MAMA PART1

For some reason, I'm at Oomama (pronounced as "Oh, Mama") Station of Watarase Keikoku Line which took over JR East's Ashio Line.

どういうわけか、大間々という駅にいる。ここはJR東日本の足尾線を引き継いだ、わたらせ渓谷鐵道わたらせ渓谷線の駅。

There are two DMUs preserved at the station plaza. This is the Wa89-300 series.

駅前の広場には気動車が2両保存されている。こちらは わ89-300形。

And the Wa89-100 series. Both are the first gen of DMUs operated by Watarase Keikoku Line.

そして わ89-100形。どちらも、わたらせ渓谷線に最初に導入された車両。

I also found the Wa99 series passenger car for a special sightseeing operation parked at the station. This particular car was converted from JR East's 12 series.

駅の中には観光列車で使われる わ99形客車もいた。この写真の車両はJR東日本の12系から改造されたもの。
